Imagine Children’s Museum opened in 1991 as the result of a grassroots effort to address a need in Snohomish County. The museum is committed to the power of play and provides a fun and safe place for families to engage in imaginative and interactive play.

The Museum boasts over 60,000 square feet of interactive learning spaces. This includes three stories of immersive exhibit areas.

The Museum is dedicated to reaching out to all children, especially those who are underserved. The Museum serves approximately 10,000 children per year. It offers educational outreach programs such as summer literacy mentoring. In addition, the Museum distributes STEAM bags to local food banks, which include science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. This year, the Museum has distributed more than 3,000 bags.
